Carcinogen (Early Access)

The Cold War had heated up, the world has fallen, all that is left is its cause.

Earth has become a volatile biosphere, contaminated by a strange mutative substance called the Moe-Della. Where, with this substance an individual could grow extra limbs, lose their lungs, learn incomprehensible secrets of the universe, become a walking parasite, or even ascend close to godhood. Through its wake, nations have fallen, creatures have mutated rapidly beyond what they once were, and the rule of the jungle rains supreme.

In Carcinogen, you will be playing as one of the many trying their best to survive in this new world. Fighting tooth and nail for every scrap you can get your hands on, in the hope for something better. Walking through ecologically dangerous environments, navigating tense political proceedings, dealing with unwanted mutations, and struggling to obtain basic necessities.

You are not chosen, nor are you cursed, you are simply who you are and what you will become within a world of unpredictability and change. So strike out with luck, find your reasons for fighting, and try your best to achieve your goals or die trying.

The Game Contains:

• Completely Customizable Sheets for characters and creatures, ones that can grow and change alongside the events of the game.
• A Mutation System that affects all creatures, containing almost 400 different mutations to potentially gain.
• An official setting that can be used and referenced within game.
• A system made to corroborate a feeling of harsh unpredictability and the constant fight to survive.

 

Early Access

Warning, Carcinogen is still under development and will most certainly have unbalanced features, grammatical errors, formatting issues, temporary requirements like a random number generator, and changes to what is written over time. Please take note of all of this and more before proceeding with the content inside of the game.

The game currently has its main rules and its creature list separated due to formatting and technical concerns for the current build of the game.
